Over the past few weeks, football around Europe has been on hold as the world battles the coronavirus crisis. This, however, has not stopped clubs from looking ahead and planning their summer transfer business.
Player contracts with clubs will continue to run, so a few players will become free agents and other clubs will be eyeing up some potential deals for the next upcoming season if this current season does not finish. It also remains to be seen whether the transfer window will open this summer.
Philippe Coutino latest
Phillipe Coutinho has attracted the attention of Premier League clubs with comments he made welcoming the idea of transferring and playing in the Premier League again. Barcelona are supposedly looking to offload the Brazilian and have valued him at around £80 million. A few clubs have shown interest including Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton.
Harry Kane would ‘prefer’ United to Real
Harry Kane is said to prefer a transfer to Manchester United than Real Madrid this summer if a move was to be on. The England international has been continually linked with other clubs after failing to commit his future with Spurs and any potential transfers in a recent interview.
The World Cup golden boot winner has mentioned how the lack of trophies is behind his ambition as a player. The attraction of Spurs who lifted footballer’s Harry Kane into stardom is said to fall for him as seasons go by with no club accolades to show for it. With the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino and fellow teammates leaving the club and winning the league, Kane may feel inclined to head towards another direction.
Inter Milan will not consider selling the young footballer unless a transfer request is submitted, according to reports in Italy. The club are looking to receive all of his release clause should he decide to leave. Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City are thought to be keeping tabs on the 22-year-old’s transfer situation at the San Siro.
